Wrapping food in leaves


Hello :) . Most people find it hard to wrap food in leaves especially moi moi. My mum and i was like that until dad gave us a tutorial lol. So since that day there is hardly any food i cant wrap in leaves.
This post Will teach us how to wrap  (cooked rice and beans was the test food).
This method is very good especially if you are wrapping something in a liquid form.
its really simple I will let the pictures speak for themselves  (I think because I post from my phone the pictures wont upload according to the steps so i had them  numbered by God's grace when i get my hands on a system I  will rectify it  ;;) .

Mango-coconut oatmeal

Hiiiiii! School is approaching lecture free week,exams then holiday(s)  (i can't wait mehn ) and  I've almost exhausted my food Items :( .
    So this post is about how i did a grand sendforth party for my last white oats .
    I actually searched for this recipe online because i can't  just  let my last grain of oat for the semester go like that without paparazi, plus i brought coconut and tons of mangoes from home hence Mango-coconut oatmeal.

You will need  Just 5 ingredients:

Oats

Mango

Shredded coconut

Milk

Sugar

How to:

cook oats in coconut water/ milk add sugar, after its done add shredded coconut and peeled Mango; Dassal ;;)

it can be served as breakfast preferably chilled (but where is the fridge in my hostel I took my thing like that no time :D )

Beef burger ( grill and oven-free method)

Hello, how are we doing? Previously i wrote something about sardine burger, so  today am moving on to beef burger.
Burgers are really very easy  to make and you dont have to own a griller before you make one (lol wats dat sef) but the major thing we have to know is how to make the 'patty' (plural patties : is a flattened, usually round, serving of ground meat or meat alternatives) which instead of grilling you can fry them. Patties can be made with different meat but on this post i will be using beef.

To make the beef patty you will  need:

Minced beef

Wheat flour  (instead of bread crumbs)

Garlic (optional)

Onion

1 tsp powdered redpepper

1 Egg

1/2 Maggi seasoning

Salt

  This ingredients will make one burger

Procedures:
1. Grate beef and onion (used the normal hand vegetable grater)
2. Pour grated beef and onion in a bowl
3. Add egg, maggi, salt and pepper, mix  thoroughly
4. Add wheat flour to the mixture to make it thick and not soggy
5. Scoop the mixture and with your hands  form into a ball. Then press until it forms a flat round shape
6. At this point you will need a griller, but because this is a grill & oven free method you will have to fry your patty
7. Put oil in frypan and fry your patty to your desired texture but i prefer mine not to be too crispy just to fry a little.

Ingredients for burger:

Burger buns (famous Futa bread :) very handy)
 
Cucumber

Carbbage

Onion

Mayonnaise

(You can add any other fillings you like)

Procedures:
1.slice all vegetables
2. Slice the burger bun
3. Coat both buns with mayonaise
4.  Add sliced carbbage,onion, beef patty and cucumber on one of the sliced buns
5. Then cover with the other bun
6. Heat  a dry frypan, remove from fire, put your burger inside and cover for a few minutes (this is to blend the ingredients together and make your burger warm)

Dassall :) . Enjoy your yourself(s)  plus i know if you are a burger fan like me, when you try this you will testify to the fact that it tasted exactly like eatery-bought beef burgers.
