Ghusl in simple steps

Assalaamu alykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh sisters.  I felt I should share this with us because I know not many of us know the importance or how to perform correct ghusl (I was a Victim once). That is why its good to attend Islamic programs. I learnt fully the etiquette and how to perform a correct ghusl at a youth holiday camp organised by Fomwan(federation of Muslim women association of Nigeria ) that year.
Ghusl is the Islamic Method of washing the body to obtain purification. There are different reasons for performing ghusl but the ones typical of women (for women alone) are ghusl hayz (periods) and nifaas (post natal bleeding ).
Ghusl can be a little bit tricky and  all but do we have a choice?  We must learn how to perform ghusl and a correct 1 also. It actually  took me some time to get it correct (Lol I always have to check the internet everytime I want to perform ghusl. Well that was then) I know it now so after surfing the net، I encountered some sites that listed those steps in a simple way we can remember so there and then I decided  to  compile and write it out  because I know there are people  out there doing it wrongly the way i do before .
The Simple steps are:
(A) Sunnah:
1.wash both hands to the wrist
2.wash private part and impurities
3.Perform a complete ablution
4.wash face with the niyaat (intention ) of performing ghusl
5.pour water over  the body thrice (Make sure the water gets to the roots of your hair but it is permissible not to wash the hair incase of ghusl janaaba (sexual intercourse  check sahih bukhari book 5 for hadiths backing it. )
5.Pour water on the right shoulder thrice
6.Pour water on the left shoulder thrice
Make sure water gets everywhere and it is recommended that cold water be used when performing ghusl
(B) Fard (obligatory )
1. Rinsing the inner mouth
2.sniffing water and blowing it out
3.To wash the entire body in a rigorous manner
Note: this obligatory acts defines the ghusl and if any of them is omitted the ghusl is void
To  know more about ghusl click here. You can also read sahih bukhari book 5 (ghusl) for different hadiths on how ghusl is performed.
Am not a scholar So please forgive me any mistake I might I have made,i just  hope I have provided a little help to someone.
Wa Allahu aalam
